who we are
Our Story
Jessica Sobotka BS, BA, MSOT, OTR/L, CEAS I, REAS, CPAM
Founder, Occupational Therapist, Fall Prevention Specialist
As an Occupational Therapist, I found I was producing a lot of the same material for my Parkinson’s patients regarding their diagnosis and basic safety guides. It took up a lot of our limited clinic time to educate them on information I felt they should have known prior to coming to me. I wanted to create a space to provide Parkinson’s patients, families and caregivers, in-depth information to help them live meaningful, independent, safe and productive lives.
Additionally, I aimed to bridge the gap between diagnosis and therapy. There is never enough time at a clinician’s office to sit down and truly get your questions answered. I wanted to be a resource for those with Parkinson’s to learn everything from what to expect, to symptom management, and get their questions answered between Neurology visits, or before they get to Therapy in order to get the very best outcomes from their specialists.
I look forward to working together!
